Wonderful all year round
Maputo enjoys a mild tropical climate that makes it an ideal destination at any time of the year. The dry season, from April to November, is the best time to explore the city and enjoy the beaches with pleasant temperatures and little rain. The weather is hotter and more humid between December and March, and it rains more frequently, however the city is just as inviting for exploring its cultural treasures and taking it easy in the cooler parts of town.

Travelling to Maputo
Maputo International Airport is the main gateway to the Mozambican capital, with direct flights to and from several African and European cities. The city centre is a short drive by taxi or private transfer. Maputo also boasts good rail and road connections to other cities in Mozambique and South Africa.

Maputo’s cuisine showcases the city´s amazing blend of cultures. Try the famous badjias, the popular ncima or the delicious matapa, made with cassava leaves cooked in coconut milk.
