Opposite Maputo, Inhaca Island contains both Natural and Marine Reserves. You can see coral reefs, a variety of birds such as flamingos, owls and Indian crows, different species of dolphins and, between June and August, humpback and minke whales that choose this area to procreate.

The oldest market in Maputo and one of the top tourist attractions in the city. Opened in 1901, it sells fruits and vegetables, fish, household appliances, beauty products, arts and crafts, fabrics and souvenirs.

A unique destination if you enjoy wildlife, recreational fishing, bird-watching and canoeing. The Reserve is nearly three hours from the hotel by car. The road runs along the railway tracks and you will see the bridge over the Umbelúzi River and vast areas of forest. Alternatively, you can cross Maputo Bay by ferry.

Located at Praça dos Trabalhadores, the Central Railway Station is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, with its wrought iron structure and facade built in 1910. It houses the CFM Museum, exhibiting carriages, locomotives and industrial machinery from the 20th century.
