If you set out from the hotel on foot, you will find the incredible Casa de Ferro, built by a disciple of Gustave Eiffel. Two steps away, you will find the excellent Franco-Mozambican Arts and Cultural Centre and the Gil Vicente show house.
Rent a car and travel north in search of the many incredible deserted
beaches. The most famous are called Bilene and Xai-Xai. In Maputo, you can discover the central market, but if you would prefer a more relaxed environment, Maputo's Feima artisan market is a must-see.
