When you come to spend a few days at the Pestana Grand, you have already guessed there will be surprises. The truth is that there is no area without a detail that makes the whole difference to your stay. For example, when you arrive, you will immediately get to know the kiosk where, besides all the international and national press, you also have embroidery, clothes, sunglasses and sunscreens, in addition to swimwear. Your swimming pool activity is thus guaranteed, even if in the middle of winter you catch an unexpected weekend of mild sunshine, one of those that Madeira is plentiful.

Its indoor swimming pool (25º) has a very pleasant and spacious outdoor area, where you can extend your relaxation experience. The swimming pool, besides the sauna and Turkish bath, has water jets to help relax and eliminate all the accumulated toxins. Combine a massage or treatment (subject to prior reservation). After all, it is much easier to have a relaxation massage by the sea, where balance seems more absolute and easier to find. Four treatment rooms, with their oriental decor and lack of natural light make the experience even more peaceful and contemplative.

Also enjoy the excellently equipped gym to complement your walks or runs along the promenade. If the design of the gardens focuses on the contact with the sea and make the most of constant exposure to the sun, there you will find benches that are inviting you to make frequent stops, so you can truly appreciate the magnificent nature that surrounds you. The pergola area creates an island within the garden, while the cactus area evokes of wilderness and primeval state.

If you come with your family and want to make the most of these areas, you should know that the Kids Club area, available during school holidays, offers a reserved games area and a playground (unsupervised), which help to entertain the little ones.
